About Vie
Voice • Art • Movement
Welcome, I'm Vie.
In much of my life I found myself apologizing - for my voice, for taking up space, and for how I expressed myself. I learned to make myself smaller, holding back in how I sounded, how I moved, and how I created. Things began to shift through singing, mindful movement, and creating art in community.
Through voice, I found a way to be heard. Through visual art, I found ways to give form to what I was feeling. Through movement, I found ways to release, reconnect, and feel more at home in my body. Over time, I came to understand that many of our experiences are held in the body. Words are not always enough, or even available.
Core Belief
Every voice, in all forms of expression, matters - not because it is perfect, but because it is real.
Three Ways In
Voice, art, and movement became ways to express what words could not hold.
This is where I learned to express the texture, color, and form of my emotions - through voice, art, and movement.
Voice
Singing is not about performance or perfection. It is about connection - with yourself and with others. A way to regulate, co-regulate, and come into presence.
Art
Art is not about creating something perfect. It is about giving form to what is felt, through simple lines, colors, and space.
Movement
Movement is not about dance. It can be as simple as breath, or allowing the body to move where energy wants to go.
Practice
Expression, witnessing, and authentic connection.
I came to see that this work is not only about singing or creating art. It is about expression, being witnessed, and authentic connection.
I offer community song circles and guided creative practices - spaces to express, process, and gently shift what lives within, while inviting creativity, play, and a sense of ease.
My approach is shaped by training in trauma awareness, counselling techniques, and child and youth mental health, along with a belief that singing, movement, and visual art can be forms of expressive arts healing.
Shared In Community
Spaces where presence, listening, and trust lead.
I have co-led an international community singing gathering with over 10 song leaders. I have also offered creative practices, including neuro line drawing and nature based creation such as earth altars and mandalas, in international settings.
Today, I share this through song circles and creative practices - spaces where voices come together without pressure or performance, guided by presence, listening, and trust. It has been shared in various communities, internationally, and in supportive spaces, including Wellspring Cancer Support.
At its heart, this work is about community. Spaces where expression is welcomed. Where emotions can move freely. Where connection feels natural, creative, and alive.
What begins in a circle is carried home. Through voice. Through creativity. Through a deeper sense of belonging, ease, and joy.
